Yesterday I went to hang out with my old high school friends. I picked up my friend and then went straight for the light rail station, where we waited for our other friends to join us. Turns out our friends were waiting in the car and we didn't notice them lol. I usually don't like to identify people's names on here since anyone can see this,so I will use the the initial of their first name for those who do know whom I am talking about.
T was waiting with me when H (a girl) came towards us first. A was buying his ticket, while D was parking his car to a better spot. When H, T, and I were talking, this ghetto-looking man said hi to us. We all ignored him and then H decided to say "Who is that? I wasn't going to say hi to him! I don't know you! *chuckle*." The ghetto man heard what H said. This whole time I was upset that H said that because he was only a feet away from us so of course he heard! Then that ghetto mad decided to say "What's your name baby?" H turned around and the ghetto man was behind me and T and kept saying "What's your name? Tell me your name please." I don't know who he was addressing to because H, T and I all had our backs turned towards him and he was behind T and I. Luckily, A and D came to our rescue and the ghetto was like "Oh I see..." and then walked away. Thank goodness!
D called O to see where he is and it turns out this funny guy went to the wrong light rail station. We told him to get on the next train since he is a stop before us. While on the train, we all asked each other how's college and all that kind of stuff. I asked O where he works and being the bum he is he told me he works at a mental institution. Being annoyed by his antic I decided to keep on asking him where he works until he'll tell me the truth. A and D who sat on front of me then told me "Seriously Tracy, if you say that one more time...." Being the stubborn person I am, I asked the question again. A and D then gave me the death stare, looked towards another ghetto man and told me to stop and they'll tell me why later. Turns out this ghetto man was giving me the death stare and looked like he was about to punch me. I shut up but I was so mad. Why should I have to be quiet because of this man? Why should I be in fear of my safety. Ridiculous society we live in!
If it weren't so me we would've missed our stop lol. I guess I'm the only one that pays attention. Nothing has changed even after 2 years. Next, we got off the train and met L who was waiting there with her boyfriend. We decided to walk towards the harbor. Some people were hungry so we went to one of the pavilions. D wanted to go to Uno's. I was not planning on eating something, but if we go to Uno's I guess we had to. When we got seated, I asked D does he know there's a service fee because we had a group of people. He didn't know and asked the waiter if it's true. The waiter said yes lol. We decided to let it go since we were already seated. We ate, we laughed, we took pictures. By the time the billed came, like usually there's always money issues. We were short by a few bucks but luckily the boys stepped up and paid the difference. L also contributed a lot because she didn't want to be cheap. It made me feel bad, but hey I'm broke. We decided to not leave an extra tip since A says the gratuity fee is the tip lol. We paid like $3 in a bunch of coins ranging from nickels to quarters lol. We were all embarrassed to pay in coins, but hey coins are currencies lol.
When we left, we took a few photos by the harbor. It water level was extremely high that day. I guess from all the rain we got the night before. We then decided to leave because D says the light rail closes early. On our way, we stopped at an crosswalk. We weren't suppose to walk yet, but when D saw these police men on bikes crossing, D decided to walk too. I followed behind. Then we noticed cars were speeding towards our direction. The others stayed behind not wanting to get killed, while D and I ran for our lives across the street. I was so worried the police officers will cite us for jay walking, but hey they were at fault too. D then scolded me for being crazy like him. He told me I could've killed myself lol. We later said our goodbyes to L and her boyfriend and then headed to the light rail. T and I were worried because we only brought a single trip ticket, while the rest brought round trip ticket. I decided to buy single trip because T told me it'll be cheaper. She was mistaken lol. D told us not to worry because they usually don't check. So we decided to take that gamble. D even exchanged tickets with me to make me feel better. Though he did caution that it'll be extremely funny if we got kicked off lol. Luckily everything worked out and no one was there to check. T and I saved a $1.60 lol. While on the train, the train stopped at a stop and told passengers that if they weren't getting off the next stop, they need to get off at this stop. I was the only person paying attention and thank goodness for me and this lady for paying attention, we got off. The train conductor did repeat himself a couple of times though, but we couldn't fully hear everything he said.
We waited for the next train and hope it was still going to come because it was getting late and he didn't want to miss the last train. Luckily it came and we got on happy. At the stop before ours, this man asked T did she buy or make her white shirt. T thought he got to be seriously kidding so she said she made it. The man got up to leave and waited for the door to open. T then decided to tell us what the man said and said that he was stupid to believe her and some other mean stuff lol. She didn't notice but the man was still there and that heard EVERYTHING she said. The man was white btw. Fortunately for her, he just left when the door opened. Afterwards, everyone asked T was she nuts because the man was still there lol. Geez the kind of friends I have lol. Please people look around before you speak. T didn't care because she will never see him again. We reached our stop, said our goodbyes to O who gets off at the next stop. The rest of us then said our goodbyes once we got off. D decided to drive his car up to the people he was carpooling. T and I walked to my car. Seriously A and H who were catching a ride with D could've walked to his car. It was not far away, but D is always a gentleman.
While dropping off T, these stupid white kids were skipping towards my car. If I hadn't driven a little bit faster, I could've seriously hit them. They were freaking waiting for my car to come near them so they can skip towards me and have me hit them. STUPID KIDS THESE DAYS! Mind you it was very dark at night! I then dropped off T and then I went home. The end lol.
Ok...this post was mainly for Tonia. Look at what you missed missy! lol Sorry for the extreme length. I'm a prick for details lol.

TGIF
I watched Inception today and it was........... SO FREAKING AWESOME! lol Maybe it wasn't THAT dramatic but I really enjoyed the movie. I love movies that makes people think about their lives today. I'm really surprised the director, Chris Nolan, came up with this idea 9 years ago. I don't understand why people were confused about the movie. I understood it. I guess you have to pay attention to details. I think all of the actors in the movie were perfect. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is my biggest celebrity crush right now. He's so cute. I've had a crush on him ever since 10 Things I Hate About You. Personally, I think Inception is a better movie than Avatar. I guess people made too much of a big deal of the movie for me to like or maybe it's because I never saw it in 3D. In 2D, Avatar is just an okay movie. Two more week till I move back to CP and three more weeks till school start. Time sure flies by quickly. Unfortunately I'm not ready.

That's it! The airlines are officially corrupt!
Please people read this article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38509841/?Gt1=43001.
Spirit Airlines (who the heck are they?) are now charging for carry-on bags. It is $30 if your bag can not fit under the seat and you must pay at check-in. (Seriously, people's feet barely fit under the seat in the first place. In other words, all carry-on bags will be charged a fee.) It is $45 if you wait till you are boarding to pay for the carry-ons. All of this is to speed up the timing. (There is no problem with timing. I've been on many flights and I have always arrived to my destination on time if there were no delays.) If you are apart of the airline's "Spirit Club" it will only cost you $20 for carry-ons. (Umm...last time I checked $20 is a lot.) Why do they want to charge us for so much? "Airlines have been able to wring extra profits from new fees over the past few years, charging for checked bags, extra legroom and refreshments." Oh I see...they want profit. Wait...I missed a word there...they want EXTRA PROFIT! Spoiled much?
What is their excuse? "Spirit, based in Miramar, Fla., says it does not expect to profit from carry-on fees directly. Pinson said the low-fare airline is cutting ticket prices overall, in some cases by more than enough to offset the cost of a carry-on bag. But she said that by shaving 6 or 7 minutes off the time that it takes to load and unload a plane, Spirit hopes to be able to add more flights." That must be the lamest excuse I have ever heard. How can they make profit with that kind of excuse? They are basically lying. Also, shaving off 6 or 7 minutes off doesn't technically allow you to add more flights. There are other factors that go into how you can add more flights.
Don't worry though I have good news. "The idea of carry-on charges has struck some as crossing the line. New York Sen. Charles Schumer extracted a promise from five of the nation's biggest airlines, including AMR Corp.'s American Airlines and Delta Air Lines Inc., that they won't charge for carry-on bags."
Got to go peeps! I'm late but I decided I must share this with you guys.

Arizona....
So in case you haven't kept up with the news lately, on Wednesday morning a federal judge eliminated the passages of the Arizona immigration law that enables officers to check the status of an immigrant during an arrest, traffic stop, or detention. Also, the judge got rid of forcing immigrants to carry their citizenship papers and allowing officers to make warrentless arrest of suspected illegal immigrants.
I agree with what the federal judge has done. I do believe racial profiling will occur with this law. After 9/11 did people not look at Middle Easterners and even Indians with skepticism? If officers have to be on the look out for illegals there are going to look at all Hispanics with some suspicion. You can be an illegal at any age so that puts kids in that group of possible illegals. Don't forget officers have a quota to meet.
All an officer needs to check your immigration status is "suspicion." I remember Elizabeth Hasselbeck said on The View that an officer needs to arrest you, but that's not true. An officer can easily suspect someone of a crime. Especially if the officer has something against you. Also, imagine you are a legal citizen and walking down a street and an officer is behind you. I don't know about you but I'll be nervous and might walk faster because I know that officer is probably on my case. It's just like when I'm driving the speed limit and a police car is behind me. I'll be nervous. It takes that little nervousness for an officer to say he can suspect you of being an illegal. This is a major inconvenience for legal immigrants in the U.S.
I'm all for immigration reform, but I don't think Arizona is going about it the right way. If it were up to me, I'll have all the illegals become legals. That way they'll pay for taxes and help stimulate the economy. If they don't want to become legals, then that's fine too. They can leave safely. To find illegals I think the government needs to do a better job at checking immigration status for things involving public aid and tax payer money (i.e. hospital visits, education, etc). I don't think having officers check immigration status is a good idea because they can be bias.
I don't think having illegal immigrants become legal is a bad idea because they usually take jobs most Americans don't want anyway. I mean who wants to farm in the hot sun. Hopefully with the illegals, Americans will realize they need to step up their education to strive for better jobs.
On a another note, many illegals want to go back to their home country due to the recession but they can't because they'll be punished by the U.S. government. It is a lose-lose situation for them. Reform is definitely needed. It's just sad it took this long to be in the headlines.

Must Blog!
So today The View made history. For the first time on a daytime talk show a sitting President is a guest. I love watching The View. I love how these ladies speak their mind; although I sometimes disagree with them. My favorite co-host is Whoopi. Anyway many critics have criticize President Obama for being on The View instead of handling his presidential duties in the White House. My response to that is would everyone stop criticizing Obama. Seriously is the job of the President not to calm and put Americans at ease? How is being on The View any different than Obama making a State of the Union speech? After watching The View, I feel much at ease and more educated in where this country is heading. For example, I've learned that we are pulling out of Iraq by the end of this month and out of Afghanistan in July 2011.
Next, Elizabeth on the show needs to learn some manners. He is the President and deserves some form of respect. I know she's a die-hard republican, but her rudeness and her frustration with the President can easily be seen.
All I have to say about Obama's appearance on the show is HE IS FABULOUS! I love how he handled the questions, though he avoided some and I love how he was able to defend himself. KUDOS OBAMA! You make me proud to be an American!

While digging through my suitcase...
After I signed off online and was about to sleep, I decided to look at the new clothes I bought that were still in my suitcase. This still being Monday-the day I arrived. As I was digging in, a big spider was crawling around on my clothes. I got up to get tissues, but when I arrived I lost the spider. He must've dig into my clothes and hid somewhere. I was so pissed that I just closed my suitcase back up and hope it suffocates to death.
So today I decided to wash my clothes. I couldn't find the spider as I was putting my clothes in the washer nor could I find it as I took it out. I hope it drowned to death in the washer. I really hope it didn't escape when I was getting tissues last night to kill it lol.
My last post about my short vacation. FINALLY!
Day 7
Woke up early because my sis was a bum and forced me up. Ate really cold oatmeal. Oatmeal is never good cold. Was the first customer at Victoria's Secret. Got my 7 for $25 panties and a free pink mini dog. Went back home, played with the bunny for the last time. This time the bunny gave me a work out. He ran EVERYWHERE. It's so hard getting that bunny back into his cage. My sis had to help me. My sis helped me pack. We went ate lunch. We then had an hour break and then left for Milwaukee. We visited a park before we went to the airport to see Lake Michigan. We then went to KFC to grab some food for the airport. I didn't want to buy airport food. Then we got on the plane and here I am. Home sweet home. Wisconsin will be missed.

Day 6 of my short vacation
Hmm...what did I do? In the morning we went to eat at old country buffet for a buffet breakfast. Next we went to an off the road fishing site to feed ducks. Then we went to the arboretum, which I've been to MANY times. It was really hot that day and I got a mosquito bite :( Luckily I was able to catch the mosquito in it's act and kill it while it was sucking my blood. Then we went to the grocery store AGAIN and I got Inglorious Bastards . That movie lack substance. It was a joke movie. Too much foreign language too. I was basically reading the movie. I fell asleep watching and when I woke up it was like I didn't miss anything. I only woke up because the gun fire in the movie woke me up. We then went to walmart. Then we stayed in the house the rest of the evening. I played with the rabbit. I think it was this day that my brother-in-law caught a chipmunk in the yard. It was so scared and fiesty lol.

ARG!
OMG everyone knows I hate ppl singing/humming. My dad has been humming for the last 10 mins and I am so close to telling him to shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all.
Now he won't stop playing old chinese songs that my bro-in-law gave him. Gosh I had to listen to that music for days in WI and now in MD too???? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not them listening to music that irritates me; it's how LOUD it is.

Opinions please
I always wonder do people see me as childish and immature on facebook. I also wonder if I appear blatantly mean. I ask because sometimes people seem so annoy with the things I say to them on facebook. I'm wondering if I've gone too far or is it them over reacting. I want to change if I'm doing something wrong. I just like to have fun and make people laugh, but sometimes I do realize I can go too far. Honest opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah for the 80 cents tolls!
Day 5 of my short vacation
On this day we woke up extremely early to go to Chicago. We left the house at 7 am. We were suppose to get there at 9, but didn't get there till 11:30. Unfortunately there was traffic going into Chicago and my brother-in-law decided to take the local way, but the GPS kept messing the local way up so we ending up driving in circles for a good 2 hours. :( Chinatown is so disgusting no matter where Chinatown is. Chinese people are not the most hygienic people unfortunately. We ate dim sum for breakfast. It was not as good as I would have liked it to be. My dad was being stubborn and not eating because he feels that dim sum is very unhealthy. We then walked around Chinatown to do ginseng and Chinese movie shopping. Chinese people can be so stubborn and manipulative. We then went to see the bean at millennium park. We walked around the park for a while and then walked to see the water front. We wanted to go to navy pier where I went last time, but my dad was really tired and he hated the heat. We sat for a long time at the waterfront in front of yachts and then we went back to Chinatown for dinner. We then went to super Han Ah Reum in Chicago, brought some more groceries and then left Chicago. We wanted to do more in Chicago, but my dad is old and can't keep up. My sister told me if I come back in the winter, we'll stay in Chicago so I could see more and visit the museums. The drive back went smoothly. We arrived back home at 9 pm. My brother-in-law, sister, and I went to redbox and they chose the movie The Crazies to watch. It was such a dumb movie. It's like I Am Legend, but it explains how the people became ill. Such a dumb-dumb movie.

Wisconsin have so many weird names
Day 4 of my short vacation
On this day my brother-in-law took off from work. I was woken up really early in the morning and we visited the state capitol of Wisconsin. It looks exactly like the state capital of D.C. We went inside and saw the beautiful dome with all the angel paintings. We then went close to the roof and got out on the balcony to enjoy the view. It was very breezy up there and refreshing although it was drizzling. The rain eventually top by the afternoon. After the capitol we visited the zoo, which I've been to like a thousand time. We went because my dad never been. I finally got to see lions at that particular zoo and also penguins. The visit to the zoo was very brief for it is very small and it was still raining. We then picked up my sister from work and went to my brother-in-law's job for lunch. They serve really good lunch there. I had salmon with rice and something like quiche. Next we went to Devil's lake which I have already been too. I made sure I had a lot of bug spray on me. I'm tired of bug bites, which I eventually got too. We walked 75% of the mountain. We didn't reach the top because my parents were tired. The way down for me was very difficult because I guess after so many years of not been mountain climbing, I have developed a fear of heights. A very big fear of heights. Also, my sister's tennis shoes were kinda slippery. We then went home for dinner and then later on that evening my sister took my back to the mall for clothes shopping. I got a few shirts and my sister brought me another earring. :) I'm not done with my shopping completely. I hope the coupon for VS still works for the 7 for $25 deal. That I'll do back in MD.

Now where did I left off...
Day 3 of my short vacation
My sister took me to the mall after lunch and I was upset because I don't like going clothes shopping with my parents and I don't like being rushed and timed while I shop. I was only given 45 mins and for me that is not enough to do all my clothes shopping for the coming school year. So we ended up just walking around the mall for 45 mins until it was time for me to get my facial. I absolutely loved my facial. I was given the option of a hand or foot massage to go along with it and I chose a foot massage because every time I ask my "friends" for one they say no and I really want a foot massage lol. So the facial was really nice. It was an hour long facial. They helped clear my pimple, which was nice. The lady massaged not only massaged my foot but my shoulders too. I must say the lady massaged my shoulder really really hard. I was in pain and I couldn't overcome my shyness to tell her to be more gentle. Pathetic; I know. :( Unlike other spas I've been too, she spent the entire 1 hour pampering me with no breaks. After that we did more grocery shopping, which I'm starting to despise. During the evening I don't think we went anywhere because it was storming outside. There was a tornado warning. Not a big deal over here since people here are pretty used to it lol.

Hot Off the Press
http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/07/22/drugged.children.parenting/index.html
Your kids are acting up. They won't be quiet and are running around everywhere. You don't want to hit them for that'll make you an abusive parent so what do you do? Drug them! You are stress out and instead of wasting your own energy in disciplining them, why not take the energy out of the kids? Drugging kids could also be a form of punishment if they are naughty. You are not harming your kids by drugging them. You are just relaxing them. Adults take drug to relax too so why not kids?
Seriously, are people insane? What on earth would make grown adults think that it is okay to drug their child. Of course you'll give your child cold medicine when he/she has a cold, but to give them cold medicine so they'll be quiet and fall asleep is totally out of line. How would you feel if you found out your parents drug you as a child? No foreigners would drug their child in America. Foreigners are not afraid of discipling their kids. Parenting is all about communicating with your child. By drugging them, they are not communicating with their child. They are trying to take the easy way out. Some argue drugging them is their way of not spanking them. I honestly think that children who have been spanked turn out to be more obedient. The last line of the article reads, "Sometimes, parents need a break or want their kids to sleep a little longer or sleep at all, she added." Do they know how selfish that sounds? All I have to say to that is do you really consider yourself a parent? A parent means dealing with your child 24/7. Sure your child may drive you nuts, but that is the essence of being a parent! I was a lot for my mom to handle, but she was able to raise me along with my sister even with a job! She was also able to cook food for the family everyday too.
As the article points out, there are many serious health side effects. One being DEATH! I don't know about them, but I can't live knowing I killed my child because I drugged them to be quiet. I would sacrifice anything to hear their laughter, screams, and cries again.
I could go on and on, but I think I'll stop here before I start writing a book. Please read the article. I posted the link above. I am so disappointed with society today.
