Hello to Cow Country

So I'm in Wisconsin right now and I figure I'll write about my trip. Enjoy :)

Yesterday, I arrived in Wisconsin. When I landed I was pissed. My phone wouldn't turn on and I didn't save the number onto my sim card and stupid TSA cut off the lock of one of my luggages when I clearly had a TSA approve lock. Luckily my sister got my phone to work and at least TSA didn't steal any thing inside my luggage.

The car ride back to Madison from Milwaukee was brutal. We had to immediately go back to Wisconsin because my brother-in-law had to go to work and my silly parents brought shrimp to Wisconsin that needed to be in the freezer. I don't know what's up with my parents and shrimp. I remember back in middle school, my parents gave the girl's family that always give me rides shrimp lol. The ride was brutal because I was extremely hungry, the car ride was super long and I felt like vomiting.
When we got to my sister's house I was introduce to her pet rabbit. Usually he would by scared or ignore visitors, but he loved me and let me pet him. I could go on about the rabbit, but I don't think you guys want to read about it lol.

My sister gave me two gifts when I arrived. Two pairs of beautiful earrings because I was complaining I was missing earrings. I still want to know where my missing earring went lol. Next, we went shopping for grocery. Nothing interesting there lol.

When we got home, I played with the rabbit for a while and then my sister and I cooked dinner for everyone. My greatest fear in cooking is when the hot oil splashes on me. I told my sister I want to wear goggles when cooking and she laughed at me lol. Also, I have a bad habit of being too slow and burning the food when cooking :(

Later on we went to UW campus. It's really pretty. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me at that time. I would've taken pics. :( The view of Lake Mendota  with all the beer drinking people and sails were stunning. We then went to visit the library and it's creepy and I can't believe you need to check in with your id to get in. UW is such a big campus. It's the literal definition of a college town. You HAVE to bike to class or else you won't make it lol. The dorms look ugly on the outside though. Can you believe they put a chiming bell right in front of the dorms. Some people won't be getting any sleep lol.

There are sooooo many Asians on the UW campus and like CP all of them are couples lol. Also, because the campus is right next to Lake Mendota, there are soooo many mosquitos. I better not get any bug bites. My skin gets really messed up when I get bitten. I mean it's already bad enough I have a giant pimple right now. Can't take any pics because of it. :(

Ok that sums up my yesterday. I will write about today when today is done. I know I didn't do much yesterday, but my family hardly gotten any sleep. I only had an hour's worth of sleep.

*Yawns*

I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo bored. Summer is soooo boring. I have come to the conclusion that my life is meant for school or work. Lazy days are not for me.. Everyone is having fun this summer and what am I doing? Getting fatter and fatter as each day passes. Oh gosh I can not wait to go to Wisconsin. At least I'll have my sister's rabbit to entertain me lol. Of course I can clean my house which I've been procrastinating for a few months nows, but it's toooo hot. I'm immobile and extremely cranky when I'm hot. Gosh...I complain a lot, but I don't care. It's not like anyone is reading this blog anyway. I just write because there's no one to talk to or there's no one with I can share my thoughts. It's so hard not to end a sentence with a preposition lol.

On another note...these are the ways you know that I only like a boy as a friend:
  • I'm mean to them
  • I joke with them a lot
  • I "act" like I like them
  • I touch them playfully
I wish people would stop with the nonsense of I like so and so.
That is all for now; I'm starting to get a headache. Gosh summer needs to END!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I like the song Forever in my Life my JoJo.

New Layout

Yeah!!!!!! I finally changed my layout. No more bright headache huh? lol So I'm in so much pain right now. My gums are swollen. I know you guys don't want to read about my swollen gums lol. I know I complain a lot. I'm a work in progress HA. I really want to play tennis, but I have no one to play with :( I really want to make it a goal to get fit and live a healthier life. I only have one life to live and I should make the most out of it.

So today I had a friend that proposed a list of questions for me to think about over the summer. I told her I would rather answer those questions now because the questions she proposed are questions whose answers do not change within a month's time. I want to share with you the questions and my answer. Maybe it'll allow you to get a feel of who I really am :)

1. How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?
- If I didn't know how old I was, I wouldn't care how old I would be. Age is just a number. It's how you act that matters the most.
2. If you had the opportunity to get a message to a large group of people, wat would your message be?
- That message would be "Be Yourself." Everyone on Earth was put here for a reason and they must fulfill their own destiny. We as people have a habit of living to the dreams of others.
3. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
-  I wouldn't do anything differently. It's not about people judging me that I'm worried about. It's about me judging myself.
4. Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
- Everything is worth remembering.
5. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
-  Laws can be appealed. Love ones come once in a life time.
6. When it's all said and done will you have said more than you've done?
-  Yes, I would have said more than I've done. We can all talk the talk, but we all can't walk the walk.
7. Which activities make you lose track of time?
- Any activitity bringing about happiness makes me lose track of time. When you are happy, time doesn't matter.
8. If you could do it all over again would you change anything?
- No I wouldn't change anything. Everything that has happened made me who I am today.
9. What is the difference between living and existing?
- Living is with a purpose. Existing is without a purpose.
10. If you had a friend who spoke to you in the same way that you sometimes talk to yourself, how long would you allow that person to be your friend?
I will allow that person to be my friend forever, because they are basically me and I would want to be friends with me.
11. If you had to teach something what would you teach?
- I would teach how to enjoy the beauty of life, for many people fail to see the beauty of their existence and their surroundings.
12. Time or money?
- Time, because time brings about opportunity for money.
13. What would you regret not fully doing, being, or having in your life?
-  As of now if I were to die, I would regret not having yet fulfill my true desires.

I know this was a long post, I'll try to make my other ones shorter. I hope you enjoyed reading it :)

A random post

I'm going to change the layout of this blog soon. For some reason I think it's giving me a headache. Anyway, I came on here to share one of my favorite songs. Here is the link to it:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzM4YOfuCuw. I just love the melody of the song. It's very soothing. A very nostalgic song.

Also, I don't understand why people don't like the sound of thunder. I find it very soothing. It's not everyday you hear thunder. What I love about thunder is how you can feel the vibration and strength of its roar. That is all folks. Good night!

Switzerland

Switzerland, a neutral nation, the perfect democratic nation, a wonderful place to live? LIES I tell you. Because Switzerland released Polanski, I feel petty enough to attack this oh-so wonderful country. Though I will say this: their chocolate is the best.

Switzerland is known to be a neutral country with helping other countries solve diplomatic disputes. If I recall correctly, I believe it was Switzerland that helped the US communicate to North Korea for the release of the two American reporters. If they were a neutral nation, they wouldn't have taken judgement and release Polanski. Does Switzerland not believe in justice? Oh wait...they don't.

Last semester my honors professor was telling the class about her long term stay in Switzerland. Here are some facts she told:

  • In order to stay in any neighborhood/community, every single citizen must vote on it. I don't remember if the vote has to be unanimous or if majority rules.
  • People in your neighborhood/community gossip a lot. Your every move is monitored.
  • They do not have representatives so every decision is made by a people's vote. You can just imagine how long it takes for decisions/laws to be made.
  • If you are tried in court, you are not given the opportunity to speak. You may not be given the opportunity to appeal either.
  • The police over there feel that they are above the law and most of the time won't do their job.
  • If you are a foreigner and you're in jail, don't expect the embassy to be aware of your situation and try to rescue you. The Swiss are horrible at communicating. Expect to be in jail forever. There's this man that has been in jail for like 20 years. Oh and jail is NOT pleasant over there.
I could look up on these to verify, but I'm too lazy. Anyway...I have a headache. My point of this blog is to say YOU SUCK SWITZERLAND and to think twilight made a reference to you with Team Switzerland...*sigh* not that I'm a twilight fan but whatever.

Oh how I love headline stories

So I figure I should use this blog again. I deleted many of my old posts because I was too ashamed of what I wrote-writer's guilt you know lol. This is why I can never have a diary. I'll just end up ripping up page-after-page-after-page. Well I really want to express my opinion on certain subjects and I figure Facebook status updates are not the best place for people will start deleting you off their friend list- bunch of losers :p

Anyway, today I was informed that Roman Polanski will not be extradited back to the United States. Before I never cared much about this story, but suddenly after being informed of this I feel outraged. For those who don't know, Polanski was charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl back in 1977. Here's the link anyone wants to read the story: http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/07/12/switzerland.polanski.extradition/index.html?hpt=T1.

Those in favor of Polanski's, release say that it has been so many years so the US should just let him go. He has many many Oscar nominated movies and overall is a good man. Yes, it has been many years, but I don't think that is a good enough excuse to let a crime go unpunished. Polanski was a coward and fled the country once he was charged with the crime. What kind of precedent does this set for future generations? Where is the justice? If Polanski truly felt sorry for his mistake, he should come back to the US and face his punishment. The US treats celebrity criminals pretty decent. I mean look at Lindsey Lohan, but that is for another story lol.
